Connect creative communities
Bring artists, musicians, filmmakers, designers, students, creative businesses and technologists into the same conversation. Make introductions across disciplines, not just within familiar circles.
RSVP RELAY connects Sacramento’s creative community around the tools, questions and relationships shaping what comes next.
Our mission is to make emerging technology understandable, keep human judgment at the center, and create opportunities for people across disciplines to learn from one another.
Not just an evening to attend. A starting point for work, ideas and relationships that can continue.
Bring artists, musicians, filmmakers, designers, students, creative businesses and technologists into the same conversation. Make introductions across disciplines, not just within familiar circles.
Show how creative work is made, where AI can help and where human direction matters. Make the process—and its tradeoffs—visible through workshops and open discussion.
Create a platform for Sacramento’s creative voices, projects and perspectives. Help ideas move beyond the room through shared resources, follow-up and future collaboration.
Music, art, film, design and technology do not exist in separate worlds. RELAY creates a place for the people working across them to meet, question assumptions and shape a shared creative future.
We want to contribute to Sacramento’s creative economy by supporting local relationships, creative literacy and visibility for the people doing the work here.
We welcome educators, arts organizations, community groups and City and State voices to help shape future conversations and workshops. This is an invitation to collaborate, not a City endorsement or a claim of confirmed public partnership.
AI belongs in a serious conversation about creativity: authorship, ownership, labor, taste, access and responsibility. RELAY makes room for enthusiasm, uncertainty and disagreement.
Technology is part of the program. People—and the choices they make—are the point.
Success means useful learning, meaningful introductions and work that continues. We’ll listen to participant feedback and report actual outcomes rather than promise impact before it happens.
RELAY is founded by Nick “Machine” Foster of Machine Digital and Prop The Producer of Creative Minds Collective. Their complementary backgrounds in visual storytelling, music, creative AI and education shape the program together.
The first gathering is a beginning—not a promise of a fixed series. Future workshops, creative projects and community programs will be shaped by what participants and partners tell us they need.
Help shape what followsMeet the community at RELAY.
